In remembrance of a great doctor and one of my father's great friends. I was lucky enough to have him as a teacher when a medical student. I think he worked during a golden age of General Practice and his generation made it so by hard work and dedication.

One of my very first memories as a child, was Peter coming to start work at Dr Nicholson's practice next door, as a young doctor. The few times I saw him, I always remember him having a very kind manner. He will be sadly missed.

Peter was a close friend of my father, Brian, and taught me when I was a medical student. He was a kind and funny man and always seemed to have a smile on his face. He was a splendid GP and it was an honour to have known hi
